QA/QC Inspector

We are currently seeking for a highly qualified applicant for a Quality Control Inspector, or Quality Assurance Inspector.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for making sure that products meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring of specification of random items in each production run and training team members to refine production quality.

Verifying the implementation and operation of the quality assurance and control systems, by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspection activities on head/corporate office and site offices. Verifying that the company quality policy, is fully understood, implemented, operated and maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing two standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
  • Checking that the assembly or production lines adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
  • Reviewing blueprints and specification to compare to produced goods.
  • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
  • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
  • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard and that do not meet requirements.
  • Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training.
  • Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials.
  • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements
  • Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.
  • Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines & providing training to the quality assurance team.
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction level & the production phase at various levels.
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following g operating instructions and calling for repairs
  • Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership others
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.
  • Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Reporting on Quality performance at construction meetings.
  • Reviewing of all Contractors quality and testing, submissions for contract compliance.

Education and Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, professional certification, such as Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor.
  • Must have a thorough working experience in marine, oil and gas, blasting and anti-corrosion company
  • Two (02+) years in leadership or managerial position
  • Work authorization. Security clearance
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Superb computer competence, including database management
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools, profound knowledge of quality control standards
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills, excellent computer skills, including MS Office

Job Types:                            Full-time, Permanent

Salary:                                   From AED3,000AED4,000 a month which will also be discussed upon screening & interview.
